Here's my GRE story: The first time I tackled the GRE, I scored a 550. I was very disappointed since I had studied for nearly 3 full months before I took the exam and had already bought 6 different books on both the quant and the verbal sections. Freaking Amazing
I took the GREthe first time, killed the essay for what it matters, killed the math, but died during the verbal.
