Use It Too
Testking gives you concise definitions with relevant examples. Friends use it too. I only had enough time, but it definitely helped on the verbal and essay sections. A downside is that since it is in alphabetical order, I had a tendency to memorize some definitions in pairs, or in relation to another word. It greatly increases verbal reasoning scores. The general scholarship, and selection of words that appear with high frequency on the test, put this book far ahead of other GRE examination prep books in the market.

Essential GRE Books
Testking focuses on teaching the essential GRE words and their meanings, using excellent illustrative sentences and quality exercises, which are a mix of true/false, matching, and sentence completions. Serious students who want to improve their vocabulary to score well in the new verbal reasoning section of the GRE, and Essential Words for the GRE examination, achieves results for them. The few examples of analogies and antonyms do not in any way detract from the effectiveness, of this excellent book!

Scores Improved
I had little time to prepare for the GRE examination. One week before the test-date, I did some practice-tests, on which I scored pretty low on the verbal part (range 300-400), and not high enough on the quantitative part (600-700). I decided to buy this Testking book. It was delivered by express mail, and I studied it for almost a week. My verbal score on the real test was 600 (although I am not a native English speaker), and my quantitative score 780.Thank you Testking, I could not expect such scores.

Provides Exercises
I like this book for two reasons. First, unlike other GRE examination books, it provides reinforcing exercises after every set of words. Secondly, it appears as a sensible middle ground between others.It is highly recommend that you work with a vocab list that is targeted at your current level. If you already have a strong vocabulary, this book would be challenging enough. If you are a non-native speaker studying for the GRE, this book does have enough "easy" words to provide a solid foundation.

Really Liked Testking
After taking a few GRE practice tests, I determined that my score was being lowered because I didn't know the definitions of certain words at all, making it quite difficult to discern the correct answer! I figured any improvement in my vocabulary would help on the test. I took the words in the Testking.They really helped! I am going to continue trying to learn more words from this book, so I can be a better scholar. This book will help you get a higher score in the GRE examination.
