Beneficial For Test
Testking's GRE maths prep is split up into chapters dealing with a specific type of problem such as geometry, substitution, and exponents & roots. This allows you to focus on each problem type, one at a time, so that you can be sure you have thoroughly mastered it. Personally, I think this approach is much more beneficial.Another great feature is that the book categorizes each problem by the level of difficulty in solving them, is a great confidence booster. This is by far the best GRE maths book.

Would Not Have Done Well
The Testking GRE maths prep is well organized and has good examples.I learn maths best when I work through it carefully, and practice until it's almost second nature. I found the huge number of geometry practice problems especially helpful, as I took geometry in my first year of high school, and am now a couple years out of college already. I only took Testking's guide that was useful in all my prep, for combinations/permutations and probability questions.

Easy Tricks For The Test
The GRE maths preparation by Testking is excellent. Last time I did any math problems I was 16 years old, and this has excellent exercises. It covers everything that you need for the GRE. Tricks are easy to pick up from general books, and that should take care of 80% of the questions on the exam. Testking's maths prep teaches you how to deal with the remaining difficult questions - the ones intended to separate the 700 from the 800 scorers. It is a must have!! Thanks to Testking again!

Terrific And Thoughtful
This is a terrific, thoughtful, thorough book aimed at preparing people for doing well on the analytical sections of the GRE maths preparation. My experience is that I did *middling* on a taking of the test last December, bought and worked through the book, and did very well in a taking of the test three months later. The key was time management, answering all 28 questions as well as I could, in the time allotted. The book has extensive sets of exercises and guidance. It's a wonderful tool.

Good Luck
I took the GRE last month and did great on the quantitative section. Compared to this book, the GRE maths section actually seemed easy. I would recommend Testking GRE math prep to anyone who already has maths knowledge, but hasn't done these types of calculations in years. It had been over 5 years since my last college course, and this book got me back up and running. Took me about 2 months to completely go through all of the problems and understand the solutions. Very Helpful Tips
I didn't take a GRE math help. My first practice test score with Kaplan was 560q. I seriously am so thankful that I spent the $ to buy this book - worth every penny. The tips are VERY helpful (from elimination strategies, to shortcut math, and even "how" to figure out when you're on a hard question and how to answer most hard questions - it covers everything!). I think the best thing about this book is the variety of problems it provides - I don't think you'll see anything new in the actual GRE.Thanks Testking
