It is true that if your helping material is good, then you get a very good chance to do well in your exam and that's what happened to me as I was supported by the USMLE step 2 books. These books provided me the great opportunity to do well in the exam. When I attempted the exam, I didn't find any difficulty of any sort to clear the exam with a good score.
