Examination Information
EC Council helps the candidates prepare for the certification exam. It provides a candidate with the opportunity to opt for instructor led online training, training at client site, the courseware alone or a self paced program. At the end of the training program a candidate is required to go through an online exam.
The certification test consists of 125 questions that are to be answered in a total of 240 minutes. The questions are multiple choice questions and a candidate needs to get a minimum score of 70% to clear the exam.
Prerequisites
It is recommended that a candidate posses:
- CompTIA Network+ (or equivalent knowledge)
- CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent knowledge)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows
- Strong skills in computer networking and
- One year industrial experience in networking
