The exam of the above certification is an objective type test which consists of 70 questions which individual have to complete in 2hours.One needs to score more than 65% of marks to clear the exam.
Validity of the Certification
As with any other certification program, SAS Platform Administrator 9 certification validity will expire with the introduction of new and updated versions, and it is important to note that once certified, all certifications must be kept up to date.
Steps involved in the certification
A series of steps must be followed to ensure completion of certification. First you need to complete registration for certification, this can be completed online with Pearson VUE or by phone, and these are the only two options available for test registration.
Registration will not be possible within any of the test facilities.
A minimum of 24 hours is required for the registration of returning candidates wishing to take the test and registration for new candidates can take up to 48 hours.
After registration is complete, a testing location will be selected, for SAS sponsored testing outside of the United States it is recommended to contact your local SAS office.
